Those with a desire to improve

We all know these individuals who seem to have the all the raw ingredients for excellent performance, but for some reason they just do not seem to live up to expectations. Usually environmental factors as cited at the reason for mediocre performance, but in my experience it is much more usually something else! It may be a knowledge or skill issue – but for the overwhelming majority of people I have worked with it is about beliefs – limiting beliefs about what can and cannot be done. Coaching is a powerful tool in this scenario which really challenges the ‘learner’ to do whatever is necessary for success.
